Who we are

This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website, cosmetic services, consultations and course enquiries.

Contact us at support@valentinabencic.com or +61 422 688 150.

Information we collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect your name, contact details, enquiry, appointment preferences, correspondence and booking or payment records.

For a cosmetic appointment, we may need relevant information about previous work, allergies, medication or your skin and treatment history. We request only information needed to assess the proposed service and explain why it is required. Where consent is required, we obtain it before collection. If you do not provide necessary information, we may be unable to assess suitability or proceed.

Photographs supplied for an enquiry or appointment are handled for that purpose. Permission to use photographs for our website, social media, advertising or teaching is requested separately.

How we collect and use information

We collect information you provide when contacting us, completing a form, making a booking or attending an appointment. Where necessary and permitted, we may receive relevant information from a person you authorise.

We use information to respond to enquiries, arrange appointments, provide the agreed service, maintain relevant records, manage payments and address questions or complaints. Website technical information is described in our Cookies & Website Technologies page.

You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself where practical. We may need your identity and contact details to make a booking or provide a service.

Service providers and overseas processing

Information may be handled by providers supporting our website, email, bookings, payments and records, where necessary for those functions. It may also be disclosed to professional advisers or where authorised or required by law.

Marketing and photographs

An enquiry or booking does not automatically subscribe you to promotional messages. Where you agree to receive marketing, you can unsubscribe using the message instructions or contact us directly.

We seek separate permission before publishing identifiable photographs or testimonials. You can decline promotional use without losing access to an otherwise suitable appointment. Contact us to withdraw permission for future use; we will explain what can be removed from channels we control and any limits involving material already distributed.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need it for their work.

We retain information for the purposes for which it is needed and applicable legal requirements, then securely dispose of or de-identify it where permitted.

Access, correction and complaints

Contact us to request access to your information, ask for a correction or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. We will explain any lawful restriction or permitted fee before proceeding.

We will acknowledge privacy complaints and investigate the issues raised. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner about health-information privacy or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where federal privacy law applies. This process does not limit your statutory rights.

Updates

We may update this policy when our practices change. The current version and its date will appear here.
