Look at the work. Understand the context.
Explore treatment results with the right questions in mind: which treatment was performed, when the photograph was taken and whether the work is fresh or healed.

Permanent makeup
Compare brows, lips and eyeliner separately. For lip blush, the immediately-after photograph and healed photograph should be clearly distinguished.
Scalp and hair
Scalp micropigmentation and hair growth treatments must be labelled separately. A tattooed visual effect should never be presented as hair regrowth.
Paramedical work
Scar, stretch mark and areola examples need individual context. Ask about the treatment performed and relevant limitations, rather than assuming a photograph predicts your outcome.
Fine line tattoo
Look at the design and placement as well as the photograph. Discuss how the proposed size and detail relate to the tattoo you have in mind.
